The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) has updated the in-demand occupations list for its popular Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
It is our pleasure to share that the Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program is back in action with a new list of categories in demand.19 new professions have been added to the Saskatchewan’s In-Demand Occupations list. Work experience in the particular occupation is a mandatory requirement in the province’s Occupation In-Demand as well as Express Entry subcategories of the SINP program. However, having a job offer is not a required in both these subcategories.

SINP Express Entry & Occupations In-Demand

The SINP In-Demand Occupations List applies to the following programs:

  1. Saskatchewan Express Entry: This program requires candidates to have an active Express Entry profile along with at least 12-months of full-time, skilled work experience in one of the province’s in-demand occupations.
  2. Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand: This program does not require candidates to have an active Express Entry profile, but it does require at least 12-months of full-time, skilled work experience in one of the province’s in-demand occupations. This program requires candidates to show proficiency in either English or French at the Canadian Language Benchmark of Level 4.

The Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand sub-category of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) International Skilled Worker category of the features a sub-category that targets skilled workers in key fields. If you have recent work experience in any of the occupations listed below, Saskatchewan’s Occupations In-Demand sub-category could be your route to Canadian immigration.The Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand sub-category is not aligned with the federal Express Entry system. Consequently, successful applicants can apply directly to the Canadian government for permanent resident status, and do not need to create an Express Entry profile, or receive an invitation to apply (ITA) in an Express Entry draw, in order to apply.Potential candidates may be outside Canada, or in Canada with legal status, and a job offer is not required.
Since July, 2018, the Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand sub-category operates within Saskatchewan’s new Expression of Interest (EOI) system.
